British national David Bergman and Jamaat's Basherkella

DHAKA, Bangladesh - July 3, 2019 - PRLog -- While the members of the British media are expressing dismay knowing about a so-called British journalist named David Bergman, who has been hired by an Islamic State funder for running propaganda in favor of ISIS as well as Bangladesh government; a verified account of pro-Jamaat 'Basherkella' was found on Twitter, which has 78.9 thousand followers.

After scanning British and international newspapers, Bergman's existence is merely found. His only existence is on a blogspot account, which he has been using as the vessel of wild propaganda and character assassination.

Recently, Bergman two blogs on his blogspot account giving imaginary and ill-motivated narration against Bangladesh's security agency named Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI). He also did not hesitate in giving dittoes to false propaganda of a man named Md. Shahid Uddin Khan, who faces several criminal charges in Bangladesh, which include charges of terror-financing, money laundering and dealing in arms.

Mr. Khan went to Britain along with his wife Farjana Anjum and daughter Shehtaz Munasi Khan, Parisa Pinaz Khan and Zumana Fiza Khan, back in 2009 and bought immigration under Visa Tier-1 by investing over fifteen million dollars of laundered money. None of the British agencies, including the National Crime Agency (NCA), Metropolitan Police or MI5 had ever investigated this huge case of money laundering, until it was reported in Bangladesh and international media.

As David Bergman is almost an unknown entity in London, let us first try to know, who this man is and what is his past record.

According to media sources, David Bergman first traveled from Birmingham, England, to Bhopal in March 1986 by bicycle as a charity to raise ₤5,000 for the victims of the disaster. While there, he became entangled in a legal dispute over the government's role in relief that The Guardian later dubbed "The Bergman Affair" (October 31, 1986).

In September 1986, when Bergman was 21 years old, he was held in custody in violation of India's Foreigners Act and National Security Act and was accused of working for Union Carbide.

It may be mentioned here that, on December 3, 1984, following methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas released from the plant of Union Carbide in Bhopal [which also is known as Bhopan Disaster], over 500,000 people were affected. The government of Madhya Pradesh confirmed a total of 3,787 deaths related to the gas release. It left an estimated 40,000 individuals permanently disabled, maimed, or suffering from serious illness, making it one of the world's worst industrial disasters.

Here, it is proved that David Bergman lacks minimal ethics and since his younger days, he has always been associated with the criminals and culprits. On this particular case, he had worked for Union Carbide, a company that was responsible for the death of 3,787 people and for leaving 40,000 individuals permanently disabled, maimed, or suffering from a serious illness. Doesn't it show the ugly and inhuman man in David Bergman?

Mr. Bergman's Al Jazeera correction

David Bergman has been writing for terror-network Al Jazeera for many years and has been on monthly payroll of the terror patron Qatari regime. Born in 1965, he is the son of Alan Bergman, a dentist from Hadley Wood I north London. Bergman holds degrees in both politics and law and his law degree is from the University of Birmingham.

As a journalist, the only career David Bergman has outside Bangladesh is with Twenty-Twenty, which is a British television production company. In September 2007, following Twenty-Twenty's merger with Shed Media Group (now Warner Bros Television Productions UK), David Bergman was sacked from the Twenty-Twenty on various allegations, which included coverage against bribes, womanizing and addicted to drugs.

Bergman's works in favor of the war criminals

On February 15, 2013, David Bergman wrote an article in an website named Bangladesh Chronicle, in response to an article written by Tahmina Anam, daughter of Mahfuz Anam [editor of The Daily Star in Bangladesh]. David Bergman first tried to get his response to Ms Tahmina's article in The Guardian or any of the British newspapers. As none accepted it, he had published in Bangladesh Chronicle saying: "The writer, Tahmina Anam has written a piece on 'Shahbag' on the UK's Guardian website.

Bergman's in-laws are from Pakistan

David Bergman is the son-in-law of Dr Kamal Hossain, a lawyer-cum-failed politician, who has lately formed an alliance with pro-Islamist Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and terror-patron Jameet e Islami.

Bergman's mother-in-law is Hameeda Akhund alias Hameeda Hossain, daughter of a Pakistani jurist named Abdullah Shafi Mohammad Akhund. Hameeda was born in 1936 in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. Her father Abdullah Shafi was a diehard anti-Indian. Dr Kamal had developed romantic relations with Hameeda, a divorcee and later married her. Throughout her life, Hameeda has always been inclined towards Pakistan.

A self-proclaimed journalist

Although David Bergman claims to be a journalist, he has never worked with any newspaper or news agency. Instead, he was associated with a TV program production company named Twenty-Twenty in Britain, wherefrom he was sacked due to a number of allegations, including drug addiction.

Bergman actually is assigned to demonize Bangladesh

In the Twitter account of David Bergman, his identity is mentioned as: "Journalist writing on politics, elections, war crimes trials, corruption etc .... with particular interest in Bangladesh. All tweets are personal".

His Twitter account has 31.1 thousand followers. Almost 98 percent of his followers are belonging to Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Jamaat e Islami (JI) and other religious extremist groups including Jamaatul Mujahedin Bangladesh (JMB).

Despite thousands of followers on his Twitter account, merely few people are showing interest in his posts. Moreover, the account itself clearly exposes a frustrated man, who possibly is looking for becoming prominent by indulging into internal affairs of Bangladesh.

Bergman works for an ISIS funder

After many years, when we are witnessing the rise of radical Islam in Britain and unknown number of sleeper cells of Islamic State (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/islamic-state-isis/) in the Western nations, no one can say with certainty as to how a so-called British journalist named David Bergman (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/david-bergman/) became the blue eyed boy of the criminals and jihadists. It is not unlikely that an immoral individual like Bergman has also been working for the enemies of the West. And In-fact David Bergman is enjoying patronizing of Qatari regime, Pakistani ISI (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/inter-services-intelligence-isi/) and most possibly even the notorious terrorist named Dawood Ibrahim (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/dawood-ibrahim-kaskar/).

Within the span of four days, David Bergman has written two bogs defending an ISIS funder named Md Shahid Uddin Khan (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/shahid-uddin-khan/). He also has defended the war criminals and made foul attempt of putting false accusation of forced disappearance on Directorate of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/directorate-of-forces-intelligence-dgfi/). It may be mentioned here that, DGFI has been playing extremely praiseworthy role in combating militancy and terrorism in Bangladesh.

More about Khan and Bergman

In 2009, a man named Md. Shahid Uddin Khan, along with his wife Farjana Anjum and daughters Shehtaz Munasi Khan, Parisa Pinaz Khan and Zumana Fiza Khan had entered United Kingdom with tons of dirty money (https://www.easternherald.com/world/europe/isis-men-hatching-coup-conspiracy-in-bangladesh-45174/) and had even managed immigrant status under Visa Tier 1, vide VAF No. 511702.

On January 17, 2019, Dhaka residence of Md. Shahid Uddin Khan was raided by the members of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/counter-terrorism-and-transnational-crime-cttc/) unit of Bangladesh Police.

CTTC, based on secret information, raided House No. 184, Road No. 2, Baridhara DOHS in Dhaka, Bangladesh on January 17, 2019. This house is owned by Md. Shahid Uddin Khan and was allegedly used as a warehouse for arms, explosives and propaganda materials of Islamic State (ISIS) (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/islamic-state-isis/). During the raid, large volume of weapons, detonator, counterfeit Bangladesh currency notes and jihadist materials of ISIS were recovered by the CTTC (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/counter-terrorism-and-transnational-crime-cttc/) unit.

For years, United Kingdom has become the epicenter of anti-Semitism and dirty money. It is already proved; Britain wholeheartedly welcomes dirty money and laundered money from around the world and does not bother if it is narco-money, corruption-money, or even jihadist fund.

Few months back, Shahid Uddin Khan hired David Bergman as his publicist and media adviser. Subsequently, as Khan's recommendation, Britain-based leaders of Jamaat e Islami (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/jamaat-e-islami/) also contacted Bergman and subsequently had hired him to run propaganda against Bangladesh government and the International Crime Tribunal with the ulterior agenda of disrupting the ongoing trial of the war criminals.

Seeking anonymity, a source in London said, David Bergman is aggrieved on the Bangladesh government as because his father-in-law, Dr Kamal Hossain became ambitious of grabbing power in Bangladesh by ousting the government through illegal means. Earlier, David and Kamal had joined hands with a man named Shahidul Alam, who also made foul bids of defaming the Bangladesh government with the help of Pakistani spy agency Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/inter-services-intelligence-isi/). Later was revealed that Mr Alam is affiliated with a jihadist outfit named Hizbut Tahrir (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/hizb-ut-tahrir/).

Interpol issues Red Notice

Md Shahid Uddin Khan, his wife Farjana Anjum, daughter Shehtaz Munasi Khan and Parisa Pinaz Khan are most wanted fugitives. Recently, Interpol issued Red Notice (https://www.easternherald.com/featured/interpol-issues-red-notice-to-ex-colonel-shahid-uddin-khan-45686/) on them.

The London conspiracy

Sitting in London, ISIS funder Shahid Uddin Khan had formed an organization named 'Astha' (faith), which aims at establishing Sharia rule by ousting democratically elected government in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, David Bergman, who also is under monthly payroll of the Qatari regime has helped Khan in getting coverage in terror-network Al Jazeera, where this notorious broadcast network had accorded full cooperation in publishing a so-called interview-based article mostly filled with lies and false information.

Later, David Bergman made frantic bids in getting his anti-Bangladesh and pro-militancy articles published in the British media. Being rejected by the British media, David Bergman began his notorious propaganda against Bangladesh through his blogspot account. Both Al Jazeera and Bergman are making false allegations of forced disappearance of DGFI (https://www.easternherald.com/tag/directorate-of-forces-intelligence-dgfi/) centering three of Shahid Uddin Khan's staffs, knowing full well that those people had gone into hiding as per directives of this ISIS funder and notorious criminal, who faces series of criminal cases and convictions in Bangladesh.

It may be mentioned here that, in Bangladesh, Md Shahid Uddin Khan and members of his family are known as "criminals and frauds".

David Bergman's frantic bids in saving Shahid Uddin Khan

Md Shahid Uddin Khan and members of his family had smuggled-out millions of dollars from Bangladesh during the period of 2009-2018. David Bergman is fully aware of this matter, while he also knows, Shahid Uddin Khan has been funding various militancy groups, including Islamic States for many years. As the criminal activities of Shahid Uddin Khan have already been exposed by the Bangladesh and international media, David Bergman sensed, British authorities may now deport Khan members of his family. Bergman's fear is – once Khans are deported to Bangladesh, they may disclose their connections with Bergman including the amount they have been paying this so-called British journalist.
