Loop Q PRIZE Student Competition Winners Announced

Students from accredited universities across Italy, studying data science and artificial intelligence technologies, created innovative solutions for the Loop Q PRIZE. The multi-round competition's aim is to inspire skilled students to channel their talents into accelerating the fields of cognitive computing and intelligent automation by creating new ideas, ways of thinking,  and solutions for the field.

On Friday, July 5 at the Loop Q PRIZE Award Ceremony this year's winners were announced!


The winners are:

● Grand Prize: Alex Mircoli, Università Politecnica delle Marche, Engineering

● 2nd Place: Dario Fugale, Università degli Studi di Catania, Computer Engineering

● 3rd Place: Lorenzo Bonati, Università di Pavia, Computer Engineering

● 3rd Place: Gianluca Pagliara, Università degli Studi di Bari, Computer Engineering

The finalists all submitted excellent solutions. In fact, the Judging Panel could not choose between two high-quality 3rd place solutions, and decided to call it a tie instead.

The competition was created to recognize students as future of work, these change-makers will usher us into a new technological renaissance -- accelerating the adoption of intelligent automation to benefit industry and their country's competitiveness and GDP.
