Follow on Google News | Internal and External Signs at Chiltern Academy from xsignxsign has provided internal wayfinding and external branding at Chiltern Academy in Luton.
By: xsign The wayfinding scheme features a mix of internal, wayfinding signs and external, branded elements. Internally, we've utilised 3mm frosted lucite throughout on our Puzzle fixing system. This solution provides for changeable door signs across the building. The general signage features a 4mm luctie. We've printed the signs using a high-quality digital print process at 1800dpi for ultra-high contrast and legibility. Projecting signs and floor-level indicators also feature a 4mm frosted grey. We've also manufactured 1mm stainless steel FM tags that feature on the doors. Externally, our objective was to showcase the school's branding. We were specified to provide two sets of external signs to be fitted to the outside of the building. The Chiltern Academy branding was displayed to the brickwork with a 3mm coated aluminium sign. To the external cladding we feature a 3mm brushed stainless steel sign with vinyl detail. Additionally, we delivered an external totem sign in single-sided, fabricated aluminium to provide a prominent sign type near the entrance to the school. Key Account Manager, Matt Bush, lead on the project with Chiltern Academy and contractor, Wates. Matt said: "We have developed a strong capability in helping schools to rebrand. Our product range is well suited to school environments as they are durable and interchangeable." More information about school signs on the xsign website, visit https://xsign.com/ End
