Applications are now open for LeaderBOARD Training Program

SAN ANTONIO - July 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Applications are now open for the LeaderBOARD Training Program presented by the Junior League of San Antonio Inc. (JLSA) for those serving or interested in serving on nonprofit boards of directors. With a mission to improve communities by developing trained volunteers to empower them to be informed, responsible, and effective board members. LeaderBOARD is a perfect avenue for professionals to learn about fundraising, governance, strategic planning, and advocacy taught by local experts in each respective field. The program is open to both male and female participants.

Applications for the sixth annual LeaderBOARD Training Program are open from July 1, 2019 through August 15, 2019. The program will begin promptly on September 11, 2019.

LeaderBOARD Training Program includes six sessions that will take place on the second Wednesday of each month. A meet-and-greet with community nonprofits who are looking for enthusiastic, trained volunteers to serve on their boards culminates at the end of the six month program.

Interested applicants are asked to submit a one-page resume, a brief biography, and answer a few short questions on interests, skills, and community involvement. Applicants will be notified of their admission by or before Saturday, August 31st, 2019.
