Fitted Sheets as Deep as You Like

RAWTENSTALL, U.K. - July 17, 2019 - PRLog -- For many years mattresses and the size of sheet that fitted them would come in a very small variety of sizes.  This was especially true in the UK where Single, Double, King and Super King were very much the staple sizes.  These mattresses would also usually be pocket sprung and have a standard depth of around 20cms.

However in recent years with the growth of online retail and a change in customer lifestyle the choice of bed and mattresses has grown massively.  Sizes now range from bunk beds, to small double right up to emperor 7ft beds.  Mattress depths have also changed due to different filling options including memory foam and luxury natural fillings.  These new fillings can mean mattress depths can increase by up to 100%, which makes finding sheets to fit a problem.

A UK manufacturer of bedding noticed this and has introduced a made to order service where customers can order deep or extra deep fitted sheets that are made to any depth.  "We noticed a lot of enquiries from customers who had deep mattresses or had added a topper and they couldn't find bedding to fit," said Claire Fallon, a company director. "So we added options to all our sheet where the customer could select the depth of the mattress and we would add enough tuck under to ensure a perfect fit.  We cut every order from the roll here so we adjust our measurements for whatever depth they need".

The extra depth option has been a great success since its trial launch and is currently being added across all there 100% cotton ranges.
