Zorba Books Launches Women Centric Short-stories

GURGAON, India - July 23, 2019 - PRLog -- Zorba Books publishes Of Infidels and Infidelity authored by Manju Dhall. The book is to be released on 25^th July'19 in Delhi NCR. The novel is a collection of short, meaningful stories, familiar yet unfamiliar, thoughful and contemplative.

Manju Dhall is an educationist with a master's degree in Human Rights Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London and from the University of Allahabad in Political Science. She has taught English to high school students for many years. Later she taught Human Rights Law at Amity Law School. She has also lectured in Human Rights Law to non-collegiate students in three girls' colleges of Delhi University.

Ms. Dhall's background in English and Human Rights is reflected in this book, the gripping storylines, that are a reflection of the struggles and the status of women in our society.
The contemporary woman is struggling to find her rightful place in society, to claim her rights at home, in the community, and at her workplace and most significantly to realise
her inner self and her aspirations and give expression to those urgings.

Of Infidels and Infidelity is a microcosm of the silent and not so silent battles raging in and around women's lives. Young Rasna wants to break free of the patriarchal bonds, Kamini and Sujata desire to be liberated from their stifling domestic existence. Naina has to muster the confidence to deal with the troubling revelation in her marriage.

The stories take you into the heart of a woman's struggle and how she snatches victory from the jaws of subjugation and discrimination. They also dwell on the agonising marital relationships in the Indian context and its acute sensitivities.
