Fitness Challenge for Lung Cancer 2019

MANHATTAN, N.Y. - July 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Mae's Breath Foundation has made it their mission to keep the words of lung cancer-relevant. In 2019 the focus on the disease is still in the back door. Mae's Breath has partnered with various organizations in the past in bringing less stigmatization in the words Lung Cancer.

This year's mission will continue with the foundation's Healthy Fitness Challenge series. The function is taking part in various exercise sessions in the open air, with fun and low moderate challenges for the cause. Open air activities are a highlight in showing the importance of the air we breathe even so much for a patient diagnosed with lung cancer.

Mae's Breath Foundation was formed in the memory of Eartha "Mae" Lawson a beautiful soul that lost her battle with cancer in 2010. Her daughter Yolanda Brunson-Sarrabo has made it her mission to give back to the community on awareness, all in the memory of her mother.

The foundation has made it their business to present the public with unique opportunities that allow and bring forth lung cancer awareness. They have been active in their community outreach series and worked with New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist chapter in 2018. They worked with this picked facility to disperse and held a fundraiser for a number of handy gift baskets provided to the patients with lung cancer within this facility.

This year some of the team of MBF will take fit and agility at hand as they take part in some exercise drills on the outdoors. The 1-hour activities will be viewed in Mae's Breath Foundation social media on Twitter, Facebook Live, and Instagram. They hope to work with other organizations in the future to hold and grow these activities as a tool for outdoor teams, for the better cause of cancer to lessen the stigma with continued awareness.
