A Holocaust Survivors Daughter Honors US Soldiers

US Army Unit saved her Father and Three Other Escapees from Auschwitz

NEW YORK - July 30, 2019 - PRLog -- Bonnie Glogover, business innovator and entrepreneur is the daughter of Holocaust survivor, Stanley (Szlamek) Jackson Glogover, (1925 –2013).  As a teenager, Stanley lived through Auschwitz but survived after losing his family to the gas chambers.

Now Bonnie wants to give back to the US army unit that saved him and three other teenagers. Just before the liberation of the camp, Stanley and other survivors were sent on a death march to Germany but he and three other boys escaped the prisoner's line.

Bonnie relates, "A true miracle occurred when they encountered a division of the US Army on the highway. The commander and soldiers fed them and they rode with the unit to a DP camp in Germany in the American Zone. Finally, they were safe!"

In memory of her beloved father, Bonnie created the I REMEMBER BRACELET,
a unique piece of jewelry that venerates Stanley's WW2 experiences. However, it was created to honor all victims and survivors of genocide worldwide, past and present.

Together with her two business partners, Fifth Avenue jeweler, Philip J. Weisner, (also a descendant of Holocaust survivors) and award-winning author, Anna Ray-Jones, she formed the I Remember & Company LLC.  Jeweler Philip J. Weisner says, "My design interpretation for the bracelet is derived from the train tracks of the railhead at Birkenau, where prisoners of many faiths and nationalities, were selected to live or perish. The bracelet is a resonant symbol of defiance and hope."

I Remember & Company LLC, will be sending donations to a different charity every month. In particular, an armed forces non-profit in tribute of how US soldiers once helped her father to survive.  (A percentage of all purchases of the I REMEMBER Bracelet will also be donated to the USC Shoah Foundation. https://sfi.usc.edu/.)

Bonnie comments, "Many a soldier has tragically seen a comrade fall at his/her side, witnessed them seriously injured in combat, or have had to leave a beloved wife, a family or a sweetheart on the home front. The bracelet could be one way of honoring the lost, the wounded warrior, or any loved ones left behind."

The I REMEMBER BRACELET collection is produced in silver, 18-carat yellow, rose and white gold, and in  platinum.  The item is gender-neutral and is intended to be worn permanently to signify a journey of love and memory. The phrase "I REMEMBER" is inscribed on the inside, with space allowed to engrave the name of a loved one or a special anniversary date.
