Touré & Danielle Moodie-Mills Say Elizabeth Warren Won the "All White Debate Night"

NEW YORK - July 31, 2019 - PRLog -- Touré, and Danielle Moodie-Mills, co-hosts of a new political podcast, democracy-ish, thought Sen. Elizabeth Warren won last night, Sen. Bernie Sanders yelled too much and several candidates need to go home.

Touré, TV host, podcaster, and author & Danielle Moodie-Mills, a political columnist at Zora Magazine at Medium and the host of #WokeAF Sundays on SiriusXM, say Sen. Warren offered a consistent, logical and passionate appeal about national security and how she best represents the average person.

"Her narrative really became clear tonight that the system is rigged against the average person," Touré said. "Last night, she tied that narrative to Donald Trump. That he is the perfect opponent for her. He is the embodiment of what she talks about. He's the perfect foil for her narrative."

On Sen. Sanders, Touré and Moodie-Mills agreed that his yelling is more than just because he is passionate

Who should drop out? "Every white, mediocre man that was on that stage. It would be easier for you to ask me who should stay," Moodie-Mills says. On Marianne Williamson, Touré and Moodie-Mills say she has become a "punchline." Tim Ryan doesn't look like he wants to be there. And on John Delaney, " I thought he was at the Republican debate," Moodie-Mills asks. "Was he at this one?"

Touré and Moodie-Mills will share Part II of the post-Democratic Detroit debate analysis tomorrow. Democracy-ish (https://www.dcpofficial.com/democracy-ish) focuses on the 2020 election, offering insights from an unapologetically Black and progressive viewpoint.

Danielle Moodie-Mills is a political columnist at Zora Magazine at Medium (https://zora.medium.com/), a new platform for women of color and is a regular political commentator on MSNBC. She also is the creator and former co-host of the podcast, Politini.
Touré is also host of the two-year-old podcast Toure Show (https://toure.com/toure-show/), which has had over one million downloads. He was the co-host of MSNBC's 3 p.m. show "The Cycle" and also an on-air host at MTV, Fuse, and BET as well as a correspondent at CNN. He's also the host of the podcast Free MFA, a show about writing. He has written five books, including the Prince biography, "I Would Die 4 U: Why Prince Became An Icon."
