Central to western culture is the concept of the soul that makes humans more valuable or important than other life forms and that lives again with the body after one's death.

In the very near future, humans will interface with computers through something like neuralink (https://www.neuralink.com/), essentially a collection of USB ports in one's brain.

The question now is: "What happens to one's soul when one unites with a computer or cyber entity through neuralink?"

Uniting with a computer will mean that one's own thoughts can be uploaded to a computer or to the internet and all information on the internet will be accessible by one's brain. This statement needs to be fact-checked. Other devices such as mobile phones, printers, etc. will be accessible through a computer chip implant.

A related question is: "Where is the soul or the moral will (the ability to choose) located in the brain and would it remain intact following and during installation of the neuralink? Could one's brain be hacked to make wrong or immoral choices?"

If one can access all educational information through a brain-computer interface, will the need to obtain school education be influenced?

These questions must be answered in order to effect the participation of people having Christian values and beliefs.
