Follow on Google News | Newhaven Court at Clearview Dog Show set for Aug. 14Senior living community's annual event benefits Butler County Humane Society
By: IntegraCare The Newhaven Court at Clearview Dog Show will begin at 2 p.m. All dogs must be registered by 1:30 p.m. on the day of the event. Registration is $10 per dog. Proceeds benefit the Butler County Humane Society. "The Dog Show has enabled our community to showcase some of the area's finest pets while also raising money for a great cause," said Kathy Roudybush, LifeStyles Director at Newhaven Court at Clearview, 100 Newhaven Lane in Butler. "Our residents really enjoy seeing the dogs and guessing which dogs will be recognized with various awards. "Trophies will be awarded for Biggest Personality, Most Obedient, Best Costume, Cutest Participant and Best of Show," she said. "The most important thing is that so many people participate and bring their dogs for our residents and team to see. Plus, we raise funds for the Butler County Humane Society, a very important cause." To pre-register, contact Roudybush at 724.477.8701 or email kroudybush@integracare.com. "We encourage people to pre-register, and we welcome all breeds, ages and sizes of dogs," said Gary Renwick, Executive Director at Newhaven Court at Clearview. "This fundraiser is a special event. If we are able to find a new home for at least one dog -- and in the best-case scenario find a home for many dogs -- then our event will be even more significant." All dogs must have updated shots and be on a leash. For additional information about the Butler County Humane Society: info@butlercountyhs.org. Visit https://www.integracare.com. End
