Type CSA Conduit now CSA Certified Canadian "Heavy-Duty"

Aug. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- LECTRI-FLEX COMPANY, Roselle, IL USA, announces Type CSA, a jacketed metallic flexible electrical conduit, now conforms to C22.2 No. 56-17 Annex A "Heavy-Duty" for CSA Certification. The "Heavy-Duty" Annex requires liquid-tight flexible metal conduit to pass additional tension, flexibility, connector compatibility and crush tests. Only conduits type ½" or larger are able to qualify for the (HD) "Heavy-Duty" designation.

Type CSA is a flexible liquid-tight steel conduit composed of a hot dipped galvanized steel core and a flexible PVC jacket. It is CSA Certified with a Flame Test Rating FT-4 Flame Retardant and is (UV) Sunlight Resistant. Working temperatures of -40°C to 75°C.
