New Friendly Confines Sports Bar & Restaurant Opens in The Altamonte Mall

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - Aug. 8, 2019 - PRLog -- Friendly Confines Sports Bar & Restaurant, an Orlando favorite for almost two decades, has opened its newest location in the Altamonte Mall.  Located at 451 E. Altamonte Drive, Friendly Confines is a sports-themed, casual dining establishment featuring Chicago-inspired comfort food and multiple sports viewing options on 60+ televisions.

In addition to the sports bar and restaurant, The Altamonte Mall location includes an 800-square-foot Friendly Confines Collectibles Store stocked with rare memorabilia from major sports teams, players and celebrities.

"We have created an all-in-one sports and dining experience in Altamonte Springs," said Carmen Jordan, Friendly Confines founder. "Our customers can enjoy the big game on one of our many TVs, dine on our great food in an exciting sports-inspired environment, and shop for sports memorabilia in our adjacent store."

Located in the former Elephant Bar space, Friendly Confines underwent a $2 million renovation to create a flagship store that serves as the prototype for future franchises. The 10,000-square-foot Friendly Confines seats 260 guests, with a huge circular bar in the center of restaurant as the focus. There is a dedicated space for group events that can seat 75-100 guests.

Friendly Confines is described as a Chicago-themed sports restaurant featuring classic menu items such as chicken wings, ribs, sandwiches, burgers, and much more. Especially popular are the restaurant's world-famous Cubbie Claws, which are chicken tenders made fresh daily from the breast and offered with 33 sauce flavors.  "We also make a great Philly cheese steak, a Chicago beef sandwich and Chicago-style hot dog," said Jordan.

Another major attraction at Friendly Confines is the multiple sports viewing options that are available and numerous TVs to catch all the action. With more than 60 TVs, Friendly Confines offers all the major sports packages and is the sports fanatic's headquarters for the NFL, NBA, NHL and NCAA football.

The new Altamonte location offers daily specials such as: Monday "All You Can Eat Cubbie Claws" from 5-10 pm; "Taco Tuesday" including beer and margarita specials from 2-9 p.m.; "Ladies Nights" on Wednesday from 5-10 p.m., and more.
