LGBTQ author Christopher Duquette's second nonfiction title is available through 2nd Spirit Books

CARTHAGE, N.C. - Aug. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- 2nd Spirit Books released LGBTQ author Christopher Duquette's latest title, "DRxug of Choice: Pick Your Poison," which is an expose on life and how trying to get it right sometimes results in things going wrong while following the direction of people who are supposed to be in the know and intending to do no harm. When the results of good choices go wrong - how you resolve it all and move into the knowing the good while reinventing life to an enlightened state is where the compass leads.

From the Author: I am beginning to field my newest title once in NYC from Jamaica Queens where I am busily finding my path to the hidden niches of books, people, and readings . . . look for me throughout our great city and beyond in the 2019 - 2020 and if you have a venue, bookshop, store, grocery mart, location for a book reading and signing - I'm interested in hearing from you and so is my publisher, "Q" of DonnaInk Publications. Mostly, I want to say I appreciate you all as readers who have traversed the Disco Era or heard about it. If you are coming out, in the closest, straight and unafraid of life choices, or as gay as a blue-jay - thank you for being here and sharing this glimpse of history. As a clean adult, post-era, I'm privileged to share a moment of history in recovery and pray the same for each of you.

About the Author: Christopher Duquette is a New York City / New Jersey native who began college in NYC and then navigated to Studio 54 where he learned he was homosexual and began a career dancing among the glitz and glam of the Studio 54 era. In reconciling his coming-out and reconciliation of same, he had a very supportive family who buttressed Chris's acknowledgement and awareness of his inner identity, which resulted in his being able to move past addiction into recovery.

About HOMO GOGO MAN: Written in the first person, this fictional story is about a sexually suppressed boy who learns to dance to express himself, dance for a living, and dance to love life.
