Rolling Physics Lab Uses Solar with Battery Storage To Educate Students Across the U.S

U.S. Battery Manufacturing Continues Support For Physics Factory's Efforts On Educating Students On Renewable Energy

CORONA, Calif. - Aug. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- U.S. Battery Manufacturing is continuing its commitment to the Physics
Factory program by donating batteries for its growing fleet of mobile science
laboratories. In 2015 U.S. Battery Manufacturing donated eight L16 XC2 deep-cycle
renewable energy storage batteries to the Physics Factory's Physics Bus, a converted
school bus outfitted with solar panels that makes appearances at schools and fairs
across the country.

The Physics Factory recently expanded to operating a Physics Bus in St. Louis,
Missouri and another in Tucson, Arizona, both of which are currently being equipped
with U.S. Battery L16 XC2 batteries. "For the past four years eight U.S. Battery L16 XC2
batteries have traveled tens of thousands of miles powering hands-on science for tens
of thousands of kids across the country," said Erik Herman, Physics Factory Instructor.
"As our organization expands its innovative model to include Physics Buses in St. Louis
and Tucson, we are delighted that U.S. Battery is continuing its commitment to science
education by providing each vehicle with plenty of onboard energy storage."

"We're happy to continue supporting The Physics Factory program as it is an invaluable
educational tool that provides hands-on learning to children around the country," said
Mike Coad U.S. Battery VP Sales and Marketing. "This donation would not have been
possible without the help of our distributors Battery Systems Tucson and Battery
Systems Phoenix, who worked with us to supply the batteries for both buses."

U.S. Battery L16 XC2 deep-cycle batteries feature the company's exclusive Diamond
Plate Xtreme Capacity technology and Outside Positive (OSP™) plate design for
improved life and performance. These features provide the Physics Busses with longlasting power, for demonstrations, purely derived from energy stored from solar panels.

"To have a space whirring, buzzing, and blinking with energy out of every corner, and to
have it totally untethered from shore power, influences our next generation to be
science-minded and energy-conscious," said Herman. "Thanks to U.S. Battery, Magnum
Energy, and Midnite Solar for making this possible."
