Metroplex Premier League Founding Member Division 1 Pro Amateur Azalex Angelos FC

GARLAND, Texas - Aug. 26, 2019 - PRLog -- Metroplex Premier League (MPL) is excited to announce Azalex Angelos Futbol Club as a new Founding member starting with the 2019 Fall Season.
Based in Garland (Tex.), Azalex Angelos FC will begin play in the MPL Division 1 Pro Amateur, and will host its home games a (TBD) in compliance with MPL Minimum Standards.
Metroplex Premier League President Guadalupe Echeverria said, "having Azalex Angelos FC in the league creates more opportunities for players in Garland that haven't had that opportunity to play at a higher level, and we're pleased to welcome Azalex Angelos FC as its Founding Member. The Azalex Angelos FC ownership has provided youth level competition and will develop their Flagship Men's Club to provide a pathway from youth to adult."
Alberto Perez is President & Director of Coaching of Azalex Angelos FC. Alberto began playing soccer at the age of four.  He has been playing soccer, and other sports, since then. Alberto began coaching youth club soccer in the Classic League of Dallas. Alberto has experience coaching as a high school soccer coach for the boys and girls team, Varsity, JV, freshman, and goalkeeper coach.
When asked what attracted Alberto to Metroplex Premier League (MPL) he responded by saying "I love MPL's idea of having a regional "Professional Fifth Division" that allows for participation of younger adults into higher levels of playing, and the opportunity to work hard to get to play against higher-level professional players in events such as the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup."
The club will host tryouts and soon will announce its upcoming MPL Schedule.

The MPL was formed in 2019 and currently awaiting Founding Members and accepting Dallas Fort Worth Area Clubs to Join Fall Season 2019. Each MPL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either MPL minimum standards.
MPL is sanctioned by United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA).
