Will Schmidt Honored With the "Top 100 Leaders in Health Care Award" at IFAH, Vegas 2019

LAS VEGAS - Aug. 30, 2019 - PRLog -- Will Schmidt was accoladed with the "Top 100 Leaders in Health Care Award" for his significant contributions towards the health care sector at IFAH 2019, held at Caesars Palace, Vegas on June 18–20, 2019.

Schmidt served as VP of Sales, Marketing, Business Development for TNH Pharmacy where he grew the company's annual sales to $487m in less than 4 years. He led the charge in the development and refinement of their provider portal, created the company's first 340b department which won 3 contracts in 6 months, and was instrumental in acquiring 8 limited distribution medications. When TNH was sold to Diplomat, he stayed aboard and turned their 12 of 16 sales slide into a 5 QoQ growth and created its own Multiple Sclerosis sales and support department.

When asked his endeavors which enabled him in winning this award, Will said, "For the past decade, I've been in specialty pharmacy, retail pharmacy, and helped grow up a start-up. I've been one of the Top 10 largest specialty pharmacies and recently I've joined Dolphin Health which is a California-based health care company. We have pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, retail long-term care, hospitals and we also own our technology. So, we have all the pieces to the puzzle. We're all putting them together and we're looking to help particular organizations who need one of the seven different qualities."

When asked about his vision, Will said, "We already have technology but we're developing even greater for transparent technology when it comes to claims processing on the PVM site. We want to show particular percentage of each claim weather be it pharmacy or health claim provider, we want everybody to know what everybody is making. I know it's scary for some individuals. But if you have the transparency and profit out there, you can increase patient care and spend more time with patients and focus on outcomes. So, our technology is really going to provide transparency across the entire spectrum."

In June 2019, Schmidt created RxSuccess Consulting which has consulted with numerous pharmacies and individuals on sales, leadership, marketing, mentoring, and succession planning. Schmidt currently serves as VP of Business Development for Dolphin Health Pharmacy, and consults with the companies other sister companies that include technology (portals and pharmacy management systems), Phoenix PBM, and MediTab (it's technology company that has created pharmacy portals and it's own pharmacy management system "IPS.")
