NGBN.TV to debut new original series

CARSON CITY, Nev. - Sept. 3, 2019 - PRLog -- The National Grassroots Broadcasting Network has announced the Network's first original series, Hit the Road with Kingwhistler.

The series follows host Nick Aliberti (Kingwhistler) as he travels across America, region by region, and introduces viewers to amazing artists from each region and the stories behind their music. The show is set in a house concert format held in historic homes and iconic buildings.

The show premiers September 27th  and can be seen on NGBN.TV's Connected TV Apps (Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV) as well it's web platform, NGBN.TV.

Kingwhistler continued  "Our show allows us to achieve the main objective of the NGBN: highlighting smaller and rural communities to give them a voice, while specifically shining the spotlight on both the musician and music we feature all while introducing or reacquainting the viewer with some of the local historic treasures which speak to the history of that community."  He went on to say "Music is one of the art forms that all of our featured smaller cities and rural communities produce, and I relish the opportunity to put their artists in front of the microphone and camera, not only to hear and enjoy their songs, but hear the stories behind them and hopefully and most importantly, evoke the change that they seek to generate through their songwriting. The icing on the cake is that we do it while highlighting some incredible, historic spaces."

Hit the Road with Kingwhistler debuts September 27th at 7pm PT and airs the last Friday of the month every month thereafter.  It can be seen on all NGBN.TV platforms, Connected TV Apps and the web @ NGBN.TV.
