Dave Shaby Joins RAIN Group as Chief Operating Officer

BOSTON - Sept. 6, 2019 - PRLog -- RAIN Group, a global sales training and performance improvement company, announced that Dave Shaby has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer.

Shaby brings two decades of experience leading people and functions focused on improving brand, revenue, profitability, and customer experience. In his new role, Shaby will be responsible for driving company growth and client success along with providing leadership with respect to company operations and people practices.

Prior to joining RAIN Group, Shaby was an executive with Bright Horizons for more than 18 years and held multiple leadership positions, including SVP of Emerging Growth, SVP of Corporate Marketing, SVP of Business Operations, SVP of Consumer Marketing, VP of Consumer Services, and VP of Operations. Before Bright Horizons, Shaby was National Manager of Sales and Operations and University Partnerships at Linkage.

In his most recent position with Bright Horizons, he was responsible for operations and marketing, with revenue over $50 million. He successfully developed and led a new division from ground up where he created new growth processes, internal trainings, and a toolset adopted by the operations team. Shaby exceeded targeted growth goals within the first six months of forming the new division.

Dave received his B.A. in Business Administration from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY and holds an M.A. in Journalism from Northeastern University in Boston. Dave has taught at Babson College and is currently an adjunct faculty member at Brandeis University.
