Haitian American Singer Natalie Jean and Lyricist Mike Greenly receive a nomination in the HMMA's

KENSINGTON, Md. - Oct. 8, 2019 - PRLog -- Natalie Jean is excited to announce that her collaboration with Lyricist, Mike Greenly, titled "Love Your Own Power" has received a nomination in the Hollywood in Media Music Awards in the category of Message Song/Social Impact.

The awards show will be held on November 20, 2019 at the Avalon in Los Angeles, CA.

"Love Your Own Power" is a women's empowerment song for right NOW. Back in 1973, the U.S. Congress designated August 26 as "Women's Equality Day." But this song reminds us that EVERY day must be Women's Equality Day. The message written by Mike Greenly was turned into a powerful feminist celebration, performed by the award-winning Natalie Jean. It is the hope of these co-creators that their song will be much more than just a reminder ... but also an inspiring motivator for us all to LIVE Equality every day.

Recently, the song was #1 on UK Independent Radio and #2 on Monie's New Music Radio on the Radio Indie Alliance Top 10 Charts, and at #17 on the Adult Contemporary Play MPE Charts.
