11th Wave of Business Accelerator program launched

AMMAN, Jordan - Oct. 10, 2019 - PRLog -- 11^th Wave of Business Accelerator program launched

Luminus ShamalStart, in a ceremony held recently, inaugurated the 11^th wave of Business Accelerator program, whereas the applications were opened in June, 2019 and 255 innovative business ideas were received of which 32 teams were interviewed and 12 of them made it to the semi-final stage and received intensive Entrepreneurship Boot Camp training. The selected teams showcased their innovative ideas before an external committee of jury members comprising of investors and competencies in the entrepreneurship, economics and manufacturing sectors, including ISSF Jordan, Beyond Capital, Oasis500 and "Hikma Ventures".  5 of these innovative business ideas were selected by the committee to join the business acceleration program for a period of 6 months whom will receive the needed support and mentorship.

On the occasion, Luminus ShamalStart Project Manager, Ibrahim Faza' said: "in the past three years, more than 100 startups have been supported and embraced as well as provided with the suitable ecosystem by Luminus ShamalStart. Henceforward, Luminus ShamalStart plans to embrace and support 30 startups in the next 3 years in the manufacturing field in order to assist them succeed, grow and network them with the investors and financiers."
