All this had to be achieved under strict timelines. Solution by Your Retail Coach (YRC) Being experts in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) we approached the problem in a step-by-step manner. First of all, we did a thorough analysis of how the existing systems worked currently. Then we mapped the existing operations to the ones we had suggested. This helped us in defining the processes, giving clarity to the job profiles, defining KRAs and KPIs and fixing timelines for each process. We developed operation manuals for all types of manufacturing hubs size and small, mid-size and large. We also help in developing SOPs for their training centres (centres of excellence). YRC chalked out a franchise model especially for the manufacturing hub which was the first in the country to support their "E-Tailoring" YRC also helped in defining standards of Excellence for all the tailoring departments of Raymond which are spread across more than 1000 stores all over India and globe. Result The SOPs defined by YRC has been successfully implemented at Raymond's. These SOPs have now been implemented across their 1000 plus stores (which include both Raymond's COCO stores as well as franchise stores). These SOPs have also been implemented at Raymonds "Centres of Excellence", various tailoring departments of Raymond and their manufacturing hubs. Implementation of these SOPs has helped in improving productivity in Raymond. The icing on the cake was that we achieved all this in a record time of 04 months.
