BUTLER, Pa. - Oct. 18, 2019 - PRLog -- It is one's civic duty to get out and vote on Election Day. That doesn't mean you have to go hungry.

Newhaven Court at Clearview will host its "Pasta with a Purpose" fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at the senior living community at 100 Newhaven Lane in Butler. All proceeds from the spaghetti dinner will benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

"It's important for all citizens to exercise their right to vote on Election Day," said Gary Renwick, Executive Director of Newhaven Court at Clearview. "We encourage our team members to vote. We also want to make it easy for people to have a good meal. Our 'Pasta with a Purpose' fundraiser is a popular event that brings people together and encourages everyone to vote."

The dinners will be served in the Community Room at Newhaven Court at Clearview.

Donations are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Those who show their "I Voted" stickers will receive a $1 discount.

    Takeout meals are available.

"This event is a great way to emphasize the importance of Election Day in a social setting," said Kathy Roudybush, LifeStages Director at Newhaven Court at Clearview. "With all proceeds benefitting the Alzheimer's Association, it is even more meaningful to our team and our residents."
