Follow on Google News | Bosco Tech Open House is November 17--Complimentary Explore & Create Workshops and Campus Tours Offered
By: Bosco Tech Middle school students are invited to tour the school's extensive engineering and applied science labs and participate in Bosco Tech's signature Explore and Create workshops. Offered to boys in grades 6–8, these complimentary sessions provide the opportunity to experience the school's uniquely integrated, hands-on science and engineering education. Space is limited, so reservations are needed for these exciting workshops. "Open House is the perfect opportunity for prospective students and their families to learn more about all Bosco Tech has to offer," said Bosco Tech Principal Jeff Krynen. "They can see firsthand how the school has earned its reputation as a premier college-preparatory, STEM-focused high school." Information about the school's six technology programs also will be available, including details about the new Biological, Medical & Environmental Technology (BMET) program. BMET courses will prepare students for advanced post-secondary studies in health care, environmental engineering and biomedical research. It joins the school's existing engineering majors: Architecture & Construction Engineering (ACE); Computer Science & Electrical Engineering (CSEE); Integrated Design, Engineering and Art (IDEA); Media Arts & Technology (MAT); and Materials Science, Engineering & Technology (MSET).
