Mercy Circle welcomes prospective residents to Sunday, Nov. 3, Open House

CHICAGO - Oct. 24, 2019 - PRLog -- Mercy Circle is welcoming prospective residents, their families and friends to tour its community, learn about the satisfying lifestyle it offers and learn more about its therapy program from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3. Mercy Circle, 3659 West 99^th St. in Chicago, has ample free parking accessible from its 99^th Street entrance. Refreshments will be served.

"The wonderful thing is none of our residents has to leave the building to get therapy," says senior living advisor Marge Everett. "Our department has five specialists and we offer speech, occupational or physical therapy."

During tours, visitors can see common areas including the dining rooms, library, fitness center and PT suites, as well as the chapel where Mass is offered six days each week.

With the onset of fall and winter, it's important to feel confident about safety when walking on icy sidewalks, especially after surgery or incurring an injury, according to Everett. At Mercy Circle, older adults find the large, private suites for short-term stay rehab a more pleasant way to pursue a rigorous recovery program with the community's team therapists. "Their goal is to help each person recover with a custom care plan to accelerate their return to independence," she adds.
