ASBURY PARK, N.J. - Oct. 31, 2019 - PRLog -- Mercy Center of Asbury Park has unveiled a new look.  "Mercy Center is a non-profit organization that is defined by its faith, mission, values, strategy, relationship and impact," said Sister Carol Ann Henry, Executive Director of Mercy Center. "That's why it is so important for us to have an intentionally crafted logo and properly positioned mission that will us help better serve the community."

The revised mission states: Mercy Center, founded by the Sisters of Mercy, provides programs and services that empower, enrich and educate people facing socio-economic challenges to realize their full potential, with a special emphasis on women and children.

The new Mercy Center logo underlines the spirit of the nonprofit with the cross at the center of all its endeavors. It honors the history of the organization, yet it symbolizes the hope and brightness of the future. "For 35 years, we have served the disenfranchised population in greater Asbury Park. We remain rooted and centered in our faith as we continue with our commitment. We also celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of our community and our partners. The new colorful and modern logo brings our message of hope to life and visually reflects our presence in the community," shared Sister Carol.

Looking to the future, Mercy Center will continue its work in the community through its comprehensive emergency, education and family services.  "Each day we impact lives through kindness, compassion and the understanding of the needs of the people we serve," said Sister Carol. "Together with our partners, we make our community a safe place to live and learn."
