Bridge The Gaps Announces 501(3)(c) Certification Receipt

HOUSTON - Nov. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Bridge The Gaps targets underprivileged and at-risk students already proven to succeed in academic environments and provides ancillary funding opportunities that allow them to utilize those scholarships.

"Our approval of the 501(3)(c) certification is a huge step for Bridge The Gaps as an accredited non-profit organization," said Omar Durham, President and CEO. "We took the additional step necessary by the Internal Revenue Service to be authenticated as a tax-exempt charitable organization that donors can entrust in," Durham continues.

In addition to helping students with the cost of tuition, Bridge The Gaps also helps with college expenses that are not covered for most underprivileged students to include SAT/ACT test fees and college application fees.

"We are excited and ready to start our funding raising campaign for 2020, allowing us to help more underprivileged and at-risk students," Durham concludes.
