Lee Enterprises Consulting Adds Director of Bioenergy Center to Group

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Nov. 13, 2019 - PRLog -- Lee Enterprises Consulting, the world's premier bio-economy consulting group, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sushil Adhikari, PhD, PE, to its team of bio experts.  Dr. Adhikari has a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering and is a Professional Engineer, currently serving as the Director for the Center for Bioenergy and as an Alumni Professor in the Biosystems Engineering Department at Auburn University.  He teaches biosystems engineering classes and conducts research related to biofuels and bioproducts, especially in the field of thermochemical conversion, with his research efforts focused on biomass gasification, pyrolysis, algae liquefaction and upgrading, anaerobic digestion (AD) and hydrogen production. Dr. Adhikari has published 110 peer-reviewed journal articles and 8 book chapters and has been cited more than 6800 times.  He has received numerous awards and recognition, including being named as a "World's Most Influential Mind" by Thomas Reuters in 2014.

Auburn's Center for Bioenergy and Bioproducts research capabilities support testing of various biomass for syngas production using its atmospheric downdraft gasifier or pressurized bubbling fluidized bed gasifier, to perform syngas clean-up. Additionally, the Center has the capability to evaluate several catalysts simultaneously (up to 8 in continuously stirred tank reactors (CSTRs) and 5 in fixed bed reactors (FBR)) for gas-to-liquid conversion work.
