John Saenger grew up on the beach in Santa Monica, California, surfed Malibu in the summers, and graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's in biology and master's in cellular physiology. Aside from his continuous love of science-tinged suspense thrillers, the most fascinating and inspiring experience in his career is his current position in oncology medical affairs on a team responsible for a breakthrough immuno-oncology therapy that is daily bringing real hope to thousands of cancer patients.
