Ogden Family Foundation Sponsors 6th Annual Adopt-A-Family Fundraiser and Event for Needy Familie

LAS VEGAS - Nov. 18, 2019 - PRLog -- The Ogden Family Foundation is proud to announce the kickoff to its 6th Annual Adopt-A-Family event to provide clothing, household items, furniture, food, toys and entertainment tickets to needy families in Southern Nevada.  The community can help get the holiday event off to a good start by supporting the toy drive and bringing new unwrapped items to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf ® Las Vegas neighborhood locations and other local businesses starting November 14 through December 8. New unwrapped toys for children aged 8-17 can also be dropped off at Community Outreach Medical Center (COMC) located at 1090 E. Desert Inn, Suite 200, Las Vegas 89109.  Monetary donations may be made online at ogdenfamilyfoundation.org.

         Over 600 Families have been served since inception with families chosen from our partner organizations such as COMC, St. Jude's Ranch, Boy's and Girl's Club, HopeLink, Boys Town, Shade Tree, West Care and other great community partners. This year's holiday event is being hosted by Fry Dayz Fish and Wings restaurant, located at 855 E Twain Ave Ste 107 in Las Vegas.

         Food, gifts, a DJ and a local choir will be shared with our families in need. Additionally, a surprise appearance by Santa is expected.

         "Since Adopt-A-Family began six years ago, we have been able to help more than 600 people during the holiday season," said Kema Ogden, President and Co-Founder of the Ogden Family Foundation. "We especially have enjoyed seeing the children's faces light up when presented with new toys and clothing." The Foundation's goal this year is to also raise $15,000 to help curtail needy families' expenses during the holiday season.
