By: Derby Dowtown LLC The project will consist of two full-service buildings with 215 market-rate; Representatives of Derby Downtown LLC stated, "The approval of the proposed project would signal a new approach on the part of the community to engage in large scale development that revitalizes Downtown Derby." The proposed Factory Street mixed-use complex will offer easy commuter access to Routes 8, 95 and the Merritt Parkway. The Bridgeport-New Haven-Waterbury rail lines are 500 feet from the development site. Along the Housatonic River, the popular Derby Greenway Trail is easily accessed from the proposed site.
