Mark Spain Real Estate Sponsors Nashville Rescue Mission Hunger to Hope Radiothon Fundraiser

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nov. 22, 2019 - PRLog -- The Radiothon event will be held Monday, November 25, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN. The radio station will broadcast live from the Nashville Rescue Mission, located in the old Sears building on Lafayette Street and 7^th.

"While Nashville, with all its growth, is an amazing community that we are lucky to call home," said Chairman and CEO Mark Spain. "It's also important to us to be involved within the local communities we serve. Getting involved and giving back with the Nashville Rescue Mission has opened my eyes to the needs in our community. This valuable organization provides those in need with necessities that many of us take for granted on a day-to-day basis."

Spain explained the Nashville Rescue Mission is a faith-based organization having a profound impact on aiding the area's homeless in all areas of their lives. As a big believer in leading with a servant's heart, Spain could see the parallels of his life and business philosophy with Nashville Rescue Mission's work.

Founded in 1954, Nashville Rescue Mission (http://www.nashvillerescuemission.org/)'s services include emergency resources, job training programs, counseling, life skills and Bible classes, transitional housing and help with addiction and other life-debilitating issues. Last year, it served 568,000 meals and provided over 254,000 nights of shelter.

The Nashville Rescue Mission estimates providing a single meal costs $2.26. For less than a $10 donation, a family of four can have a hot meal. Its goal is to raise enough funding during the Radiothon for 44,000 meals. It has partnered with Super Talk 99.7 WTN to host the 14-hour, on air fundraising event. Mark Spain will make appearances during the 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. hours of the Radiothon.
