LOS ANGELES - Dec. 3, 2019 - PRLog -- Lection Official Trailer

The world ended.
Then they had an election.

The apocalypse wasn't loud. They forgot how to make things. They forgot how to run things. They even forgot … how to talk to each other.

Now in the aftermath, do the residents of an isolated village entrust their ruined society to the victims of its collapse? Or do they ask those who wrecked it to try to make it right again?

Who's in charge?  How do they even decide?

In LECTION, the new movie from writer-director David Axe, the denizens of the post-apocalypse pick a new leader. It's weird. It's violent. It's relevant.

LECTION. Vote or die.

Imagine running for mayor of your small town. Only the small town is an isolated village in a world gone to shit. Everything has broken down, and that includes the politics. When you run for office in our village, you literally run. And fight. And cheat, lie and steal. Anything to amass more supporters and more power.

LECTION is our fourth film after THE THETA GIRL (2017) and AZRAEL (2019) and SHED (2019). We've had great runs on the film-festival circuit, won some awards, put out some DVDs and steadily grown an audience of thousands all over the world.

A film by David Axe. Starring Mike Amason, Sanethia Dresch, Bradley J. Petit & Jennifer Hill.
