Follow on Google News | Local Kelowna Spin Studio Hosts National Day Of GivingSpin + strength classes offered by donation in support of the Easter Seals of the Okanagan
By: B Indoor Cycle & Strength "These kids often have to face life with others only seeing their disabilities, but camp helps them realize they aren't defined by their disability, and they instead focus on empowerment and the challenges they can overcome with the support of counselors and fellow campers," says James Gagnon, Director of Camp and Facilities at Easter Seals. "It costs $3600 to send a child to camp for a week, so dollars raised from fundraising will help offset these costs to send kids with diverse abilities to Easter Seals Camp Winfield giving them a week-long life- changing experience each summer," says Gagnon. B Indoor Cycle and Strength Studio and it's instructors are donating all money raised on Tuesday, December 3rd directly to Easter Seals of the Okanagan. The class schedule is as follows: 9:15AM Classic Ride with Robin Wallouch (traditional spin class - no pumps/dip or rhythm based choreography.) 4:45PM Classic Ride with Nicole Heron (traditional spin class - no pumps/dip or rhythm based choreography) 6:00PM Early 2000's Theme RIDE with Katelyn Schatz & Whitney Ball (rhythm based spin class) 7:15PM Straight Strength Training with Katelyn Schatz (full body strength training workout in our strength training room) Classes are open to all members and non-members with a minimum $10 donation. Participants are encouraged to purchase their "B Kind Charity Ride" class online at www.bcycleandstrength.com for $10 or $20 to book their spot in class, as spaces are limited.
