Peru Reached USD 24 Million in Business Expectations during Expo Peru Dubai

NEW DELHI: The Business Expectations of the nearly 100 Export Entrepreneurs and Tour Operators, who participated in the Peru Dubai Expo reached US $ 24 Million, the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PROMPERU) reported.
Between November 3 and 4, a Global Agenda record was broken in this Destination Market of the Asian Continent as each Peruvian Company had an average of 15 Business Meetings with 115 Buyers from 13 Countries due to the coordinated effort of the Peruvian Commercial Office in that Country.
The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Edgar Vásquez, who led the Mission, held Meetings with the Presidents of DP World and the Emirates Group, in order to encourage Investments in Peru. Likewise, it pursues to improve Connectivity to consolidate the Peru-Dubai Binomial as the hub for the South American Pacific, the Arab World and the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region, respectively.
A Land Payment Ceremony was held on what the Peru Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 will be.
