Faith and Health Care Practices for an Anxiety-Free, Contented New Year

Sisters Spotlight Life Coach's Spiritual Journey on January 25

MILWAUKEE - Dec. 3, 2019 - PRLog -- According to the National Institute of Mental Health, more than a third of the adult population in North America experiences anxiety-related wellness issues. Less than half will receive the quality professional care they need. Another significant portion of the population battles with feelings of not measuring up--a general dissatisfaction pandemic in our competitive society.

The School Sisters of St. Francis invite you to take the first step to wellness and spiritual wholeness by being informed about the issues of anxiety and discontentedness:  On Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., the sisters will host the workshop, "Finding Contentment in a Discontented World," at St. Joseph Center, their south side Milwaukee campus (on 27th St. and Greenfield Ave.). Author Ann C. Sullivan will be the guest speaker.

Ann is committed to helping people break through the misinformation surrounding anxiety, and offering spiritual and practical insights to rising above dissatisfaction. In this morning of reflection, she will share her personal journey using Scripture and advice from the health profession.

She is the author of Unsatisfied:  Finding Contentment in a Discontented World and Permission to Doubt. (Books will be available for sale at the January 25 event.) A much sough-after speaker, workshop leader, and trainer for corporate and inspirational events, Ann has a solid following among readers of her weekly blog about a purpose-driven life. Those who have had the privilege to participate in her events give high praise for her dynamism and "Spirit-led, rugged introspection."

Ann studied education, history, and philosophy at Northern Illinois University. She spent 10 years coordinating women's studies at Elmbrook Church in the Milwaukee area before undertaking full time the noble profession to inspire men and women in all areas of their lives.

According to "The Solution Radio Show" host Greg Backes, "Ann's communication skills are second to none. She can weave a story that will capture your heart and finish the story with a poignant truth or principle that is clear to understand. Ann is an encouraging speaker, teacher and author."
