Eric Dan Hughes Finalizes Screenplay for Born to Be Wasted

ATLANTA - Dec. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Producer and writer Eric Dan Hughes has brought "Born to be Wasted" to life. It is the story of Mike Dawkins, a youth challenged by his surroundings and growing up in a troubled home. Mike is the son of La Joy Dawkins, a recovering alcoholic trying to leave her troubled past behind. Mike spends his time forging a new path in life while attempting to discover his identity.

Eric Dan Hughes is a prolific author with over 27 years as a retired police officer. Mike has worked on many faith-based projects as well as projects aimed at community outreach and improvement. He lives in Cleveland, GA with his wife Elizabeth Huges who works with him on many projects. Elizabeth is an actor and has also appeared with Eric in many films and shows. Eric commented, "Born to be Wasted is a film about how people respond to different situations and how they learn and grow from them. One thing I saw as a police officer is some people use a difficult situation to motivate them and others crack. It is all about the bedrock of the person inside and how they respond in that critical moment."
