inTheSmart (iTS) premieres on FOX Business with its advanced endoscopic fluorescence imaging system and over 70 patents

NEW YORK - Dec. 10, 2019 - PRLog -- iTS (inTheSmart) Co. Ltd., a medical device company specializing in high-tech medical equipment based in South Korea, has been featured in the FOX Business channel last December 7, 2019. The four-minute segment was taken from iTS (inTheSmart) CEO and Founder Dr. Choonghee Lee's one-on-one interview on Digital Innovators, a 30-minute TV series highlighting industry and thought leaders with their cutting-edge technologies and innovations.

inTheSmart's Dr. Choonghee Lee spoke with David Drake, LDJ Capital's Chairman and the host of Digital Innovators. CEO Dr. Lee introduced their advanced endoscopic imaging system using near-infrared light that provides high-quality images of the internal body which enables the doctors to visualize and locate major arteries, blood vessels, lymph nodes, and tumors accurately in real-time.

CEO Dr. Lee shared how iTS strives to provide solutions through the development of their medical devices with the help of the funding from Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH). "I decided to do a medical device business with Seoul National University Hospital and I got the first investment from Seoul National University Hospital. That's the reason why I can do and interactively develop the medical device with them," noted Dr. Lee.

Digital Innovators host and LDJ Capital Chairman David Drake applauded the efforts of iTS and its medical devices. He said, "iTS wanted to bridge the miscommunication between the doctors and engineers by creating a highly focused imaging technology in color with the use of fluorescence light." He pointed out that CEO Dr. Lee has created a legacy that inspires doctors to create other patents based on his patents.

Since the company started, iTS has filed about 70 patents in their company with doctors creating patent family trees. "My goal is to make business for the doctor. I wanted to make a sustainable business where doctors can realize their ideas for creating medical equipment," shared CEO Lee. This is the reason why doctors approach the company for collaboration. He noted that the number of patents in iTS can grow in as much as 50 patents in a year.
