As Seen on FOX Business: Caris Company Ltd promotes the world's first Impact-resistant, Luminescent, Eco-friendly Recyclable PVC Safety Guardrails

NEW YORK - Dec. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Caris Co. Ltd., a South Korea-based manufacturing company of PVC-oriented road safety products, has been featured on the recent FOX Business episode. The short segment is a part of Caris Manager Shawn Kim's interview on Digital Innovators, a 30-minute television series highlighting industry and thought leaders and cutting-edge technologies and innovations.

Shawn Kim, Manager at Caris CompanyLtd,  spoke with Digital Innovators host and LDJ Capital Chairman David Drake. Shawn Kim emphasized that driver and passenger safety is the main priority of Caris Co. Ltd. and they wanted to create a guardrail out of recycled plastic that could be as effective as the galvanized steel iron guardrails used today.

The PVC safety guardrails are made out of PVC resin from recycled plastic wastes that come in different colors and have a luminescent quality that enables them to gather energy by day and light up at night. "As long as there is light, the guardrails are absorbing the light. And in the nighttime, it uses the energy that it's gathered up and illuminates at night to help drivers be more aware of their surroundings and where the guardrail is," according to Kim.

He also shared the three successes of Caris: first, having a working product - a PVC resin that's able to withstand collisions from cars; second, the illuminating effect of the guardrails; and third, the fact that their guardrails are manufactured from recycled plastic.

Manager Kim emphasized the stand of the company and its CEO and founder Cheol Yu in impacting the environment. "With guardrails and how much is produced annually, I can't even imagine the effects as far as the ecosystem goes. He's very proud of the fact that one of his main focuses is to provide a product that does not create nearly as much waste," stated Kim.
