Colonial Courtyard at Bedford celebrates 'Family Christmas'

BEDFORD, Pa. - Dec. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Holiday spirit has been prevalent throughout Colonial Courtyard at Bedford as the senior living community embraces the season.

    More than 165 residents and their family members recently participated in Colonial Courtyard at Bedford's annual Family Christmas Dinner.

    "With the enthusiastic help of our entire team at Colonial Courtyard at Bedford, we all had a wonderful time sharing a special event with our residents and their families," said Bobbi Howsare, Community Relations Director at the senior living community. "Gatherings like this are so important to our team and our residents. It's so important to share in these memorable moments throughout the year but especially during the holiday season."

     Howsare praised Brandy Thornton, Colonial Courtyard at Bedford's Food Service Director. "A special thank you to Brandy for the delicious meal of stuffed chicken breast," Howsare said.

    Zupe, an award-winning entertainer, performed his renown one-man show, playing the piano and singing. "Zupe has been a staple at our Christmas parties and his performance always is special," Howsare said.

    Colonial Courtyard at Bedford also held its annual Team Member Christmas Party on Dec. 9. The team had an opportunity to play "Let's Make a Deal" and compete for prizes.

    "We will celebrate the holiday season throughout the month," Howsare said. "This is a great time of year for our residents, their family members and our team."
