A Light From The Ashes is set in the future wasteland of Virginia where Sam, the son of revolutionaries, wants nothing more than to leave the violence of his past behind him, but the impending Third Revolution and the two women he loves may not let him. With his loyalties torn between his affection for Sophie and maintaining the tentative peace which has prevailed in the land, Sam must navigate the fine lines between peace and rebellion, love and hate, while trying to find his humanity in an inhumane world and within himself. Cox plans to tour with A Light From The Ashes through the Southwest and Southeast before a special event at Book Expo America 2020 in New York City where she will be a featured author at the Jacob Javits Center. Cox has written and recorded a CD of songs to accompany her book, one of which was used for her book trailer, and her music is getting airplay on Spotify and several indie podcasts and radio shows. https://www.youtube.com/ B&N Layton Market Center is located at 1780 North Woodland Park Drive in Layton, and they can reserve copies for customers ahead of the event.
