Golf Park announces a collaboration with KSports Lab to launch a new international eSport League based on indoor golf competitions

CENTRAL, Singapore - Jan. 7, 2020 - PRLog -- This new eSport league aims to reinvent golf as a game that millennials will want to play and support.

Players will compete using the latest and greatest golf simulators with golf courses built inside game universes. The Golf Park Major League "GPML" will adopt a franchise model for the Pro League based on home/away season competitions followed by a playoff and a Final Four. The season will also include quarterly Major Tournaments where all franchise teams will come together to battle..

The GPML will be organized around three tiers:
1. a Pro League with international franchises of teams consisting of men and women who aspire to play golf at top level in eSports
2. a Challenger League which will propose weekly amateur tournaments where players are able to win cash prizes and a wild card for the Majors.
3. a Mobile/Computer Game for the fan community which enables them to play in the same game universes as the Pro League players as well as participate in competitions for a chance to win prizes. A mobile World Cup is also on the GPML roadmap.

The first year will be based on an event/tournament tour around 10 selected cities in 4 continents. Each event will be hosted inside an eSport stadium and will feature 3 days full of action-packed golf competitions with a $5 million prize money on the line for the Tour.

"Our aim is to change the narrative of golf from an outdoor sport for rich people to a new eSport game that can be played and enjoyed by all especially the millennials generation who continue to challenge the way we think and do sports," said Hugo Saurat, founder of Golf Park. He added, "Of course we are keen on preserving our golf roots but we also believe that this sport has so much potential to expand so we're taking advantage of everything eSport and technology have to offer. "We are building a blockchain layer on top of an eSport tournament management software and this architecture opens doors for many new options such as having an anti-cheating solution by recording golf battles on the blockchain." He added, "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning are also part of the technologies we are using to enable game avatars (the caddies) to help their players progress by assisting them during battles."

Golf Park Major League will be announcing the cities selected for the 'Golf Park Champion Series' Tour and the first year agenda in the coming weeks while disclosing the first partners associated to this exciting venture.
