Big City Showdown Presented by Findlay Toyota is Back and Better!

LAS VEGAS - Jan. 15, 2020 - PRLog -- The Big City Showdown is not dead, in fact we are back and better! This year's event will take place at the Cox Pavilion and will feature top 10 team Bishop Gorman versus Coronado!

For the past few years; Big City Showdown has always been a city battle between Gorman and Findlay Prep, but with Findlay Prep not competing this year, event director Grant Rice has added another local rival of Gorman; Coronado High School. Top 5 player Jaden Hardy hopes to cement a victory, and permanently add Coronado in the event roster. Although Findlay Prep will not be participating, event sponsors Findlay Toyota are still on board this year, continuing to add local support for this renowned event in the city.

This year's Big City Showdown will also be featured on ESPN as its marquee high school game that evening.

Bishop Gorman heads into the Showdown as defending champs topping Findlay Prep last year, and is hoping to keep "The Shoe". "For years, Bishop Gorman and Findlay Prep have been considered the powerhouse schools when it comes to basketball. Over the past couple of years Coach Kaufman has been able to turn Coronado's program into a powerhouse itself, and will be able to showcase that on television this month!"
