Dr. Fung Yat Kin Ken Honored with the "Top 100 Healthcare Leaders" Award at IFAH Dubai, 2019

DUBAI, UAE - Jan. 16, 2020 - PRLog -- Clinical psychologist, Dr. Fung Yat Kin Ken was presented with the "Top 100 Healthcare Leaders" award for his valuable significant contributions to the healthcare industry at IFAH — International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (formerly known as the Smart Health Conference). The international conference was held at Le Meridien, Dubai on December 16–18, 2019.

Founder of Your Relationship Clinic and clinical psychologist with Family Dynamics and Jadis Blurton Family Development Center, Ken Fung is committed to helping individuals/couples/families with different relational and emotional issues using Gottman Method Therapy and other approaches including psychodynamic and CBT, depending on the clients' needs.

Presently, because of social unrest in Hong Kong, he has extended his services on a pro bono basis to provide emotional support to individuals who have been traumatized by the present state of affairs. He is also helping young people showing PTSD symptoms who are without support systems.

His areas of expertise include psychotherapy, psychological assessments, couple and relationship assessments and therapy, communication and conflict management, online counseling, and trauma counseling.

When asked about his future plans, Dr. Ken Fung said, "I think it's really important to bring to everyone's attention to what is happening in Hong Kong. A lot of people are showing PTSD and anxiety symptoms. We are not sure when and how the social unrest will be resolved. The need in terms of psychological and mental health help is enormous. I will keep doing what I am doing and hopefully, I will recruit people to help the youngsters in Hong Kong who are in need."
