It serves as a powerful metaphor for standing up for freedom and principle in the face of adversity. The work celebrates the dignity and resilience of people who were victims of oppression but believed in the possibility of a bright future. The staged performance with orchestra and chorus will be conducted by Pacien Mazzagatti and features soloists Gee Seop Kim, Thomas Massey, Taerra Pence, Kevin Rockower, Luisa Torres-Munster, Elizabeth Moulton, Fabrizio Doria, Cheryl Warfield, and child sensation Jarod Hirsch.
