Holocaust Survivor Presents "The Uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto" Performance

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Jan. 20, 2020 - PRLog -- Composer and Holocaust survivor Harry Bialor will present his musical drama "The Uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto," focusing on the lives and hopes of Jewish resisters living in the ghetto prior to its destruction by the Nazis on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:30 PM at the Yeshiva of Flatbush, 1609 Avenue J, Brooklyn, NY 11230.

"The Uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto" is a fictionalized account of the Jewish rebellion in the Warsaw Ghetto intertwined with love stories of two couples and Nazi Fascism.  It serves as a powerful metaphor for standing up for freedom and principle in the face of adversity.  The work celebrates the dignity and resilience of people who were victims of oppression but believed in the possibility of a bright future.

The staged performance with orchestra and chorus will be conducted by Pacien Mazzagatti and features soloists Gee Seop Kim, Thomas Massey, Taerra Pence, Kevin Rockower, Luisa Torres-Munster, Elizabeth Moulton, Fabrizio Doria, Cheryl Warfield, and child sensation Jarod Hirsch. Maxine Feldman is music director and Jane Leathers is the stage director.
