Song "Guns Pulled" Preparing for Release on National Gun Survivors Week

PORTLAND, Ore. - Jan. 31, 2020 - PRLog -- This song is in process to be published timely to National Gun Survivors Week, Feb. 1-8^th, at a time where all that have fallen need to be remembered. Surviving gun violence is an extreme task to be taken for those that have survived. The impact is loud in all areas of life. Taking action heals the impact and restores strength and control. Remembering those that have perished from gun violence brings community through healing together.

"Guns Pulled" is written by singer and songwriter Lori Jean Finnila who shares her personal story of tragedy with gun violence. Her situation is an abusive situation that carries on from control to devastating physical violence that involves guns. The time to produce to her was now when its meaning can be heard most, and at a time in our country where we have found silence and this is the time she felt to connect her personal display of the song to all the fallen angels of our country, including Kobe Bryant and his daughter, who wave up there so high to us from such a heavenly place giving recognition to the love needed to be shared.

Other fallen angels are 17-year-old Prosper Na'tron Johnson who was shot down 5 days before his 18^th birthday, the children and staff at Sandy Hook Elementary, Deborah Parker's daughter, Lindsay at 19 who left behind a 9 month old daughter named Patrice, because she was shot and taken down by a convicted felon.

Being a volunteer of "Moms Demand Action," a part of Everytown for Gun Safety, Lori has made many calls speaking to survivors herself as they connect with their stories and are grateful to find resources to help other victims and to bring more safety to guns.
