Michaelene Cardell-Chamberlain Rejoins The Cardell Agency

JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. - Feb. 5, 2020 - PRLog -- Michaelene "Mikki" Chamberlain is proudly coming back to the agency that her parents started, The Cardell Agency, located at 201 Oakdale Rd, Johnson City, NY 13790. The Cardell Agency is part of The Northwoods Corporation, headquartered in Williamsville, NY

The Cardell Agency was started by Steve and Suzzy Cardell in the kitchen of their home in 1979 and has grown into a community staple in the tri-city area. Now, Mikki is a second-generation producer at The Cardell Agency, following in the footsteps of her parents, Steve and Suzzy.

After excelling in the education field for 16 years, climbing her way from teacher to principal, she realized her true passion when she saw her family retire from the agency. When asked, Mikki said, "Family has always been at the heart of my decisions; it was like a piece of the family left when my parents made the decision to retire."  After hearing from countless people in the community how her family's agency had helped their families, as well as the reputation and trust it had built in the community over all of those years, she knew she had to carry on that legacy in some way. After searching for an agency that would be the right fit, she found herself in the insurance agency of which she was born into.  Mikki says, "When I was approached about coming back to The Cardell Agency, it felt serendipitous."

Mikki comes to Cardell, as well as Northwoods, with an extensive background in not only insurance, but education and making a difference in the lives of her students and countless others. She will continue to make a meaningful impact on her community through her family's business and looks forward to taking on the responsibility of being her own boss and making the agency her own. She will continue to serve businesses and individuals as a trusted local agent under her family's reputation. Mikki values the importance of supporting small businesses, as well as charities, to maintain involvement within the local community.
