Giving Back to End Childhood Hunger

SAN DIEGO - Feb. 5, 2020 - PRLog -- Since the inception of Pacific Beach Fish Shop, their first location, the Fish Shop family of restaurants has made it their mission to support the community.    It's All About the Kids® [IAATK] has had the honor of their generosity through toy drives, donation nights, serving hundreds of tacos to guests at fundraisers and supporting IAATK's first Solar Pantry.

At the San Diego locations, Pacific Beach Fish Shop, Point Loma Fish Shop and Encinitas Fish Shop, the new Mahi Elote Taco was added to the menu in October 2019. With every taco sold, the Fish Shop donates a nutritious meal to the Feed the Kids Food Pantry.  In addition, at each location on the first weekend of the month, they have their GIVE BACK Weekend.  Additional donations are accepted at the register for IAATK.

We are proud to announce that over 3,341 meals were donated to IAATK for October through December 2019.   Because of the great success, the campaign will continue into 2020.

"We are so thankful for the wonderful partnership that has continued for the last 10 years, since they opened their doors in Pacific Beach," said IAATK President and Founder Angela Brannon-Baptiste.  "Each week, we are providing more food to more families, so every meal donated by the Fish Shops makes a difference.  Together, we are ensuring that thousands of San Diego kids are not going to bed hungry."
