Follow on Google News | Carlson Electric Awarded Renewable Business of the YearCarlson Electric receives Award from RENEW Wisconsin at ninth annual Renewable Energy Summit
By: Carlson Electric With this honor, Michael Vickerman, Policy Director of RENEW Wisconsin, cited Carlson Electric for "Carlson Electric's professionalism, sophistication in dealing with different financing models and funding sources, and commitment towards providing solar solutions to nonprofit customers." It was noted that Carlson Electric's ability to access funds through the Solar for Good program, PACE financing, Wisconsin Energy Innovation grants, as well as other grants, was a critical factor in helping such customers as Solon Springs School District, Spooner Ice Arena, Burnett County Humane Society, and Northland Lutheran High School invest in solar power in 2019. Carlson Electric is well on its way to completing the state's most expansive solar initiative aimed at low- and moderate-income households. By this time next year, Carlson will have financed and installed 269 kilowatts of rooftop solar capacity directly serving 108 apartment dwellers in Sawyer County alone. Tim Dilley, Director of Business Development with Carlson Electric, stated, "We are especially honored to have received this award from RENEW Wisconsin, but must thank all of those who have believed in us, and worked with us, to help see these wonderful projects come to fruition. We must give a very special thank you to everyone at PACE Wisconsin, Legacy Solar Cooperative, and all involved with RENEW's Solar For Good Program." Carlson Electric (https://www.gosolarwi.com) is excited to offer both strategies, and renewable energy design and installation services, that far exceed the status quo in order to maximize return on investment for their customers.
