By: Music: Not Impossible Not Impossible and Zappos are hosting a unique Haptic Art Experience featuring music and art from inaugural artists of the Music: Not Impossible (M:NI) Creator Network. The event will be held Saturday, March 7 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Museum of the Moving Image (36-01 35th Ave.). The term haptic refers to the sense of touch. Initially inspired by the deaf, M:NI is creating a radically inclusive, integrated haptic experience that allows all people regardless of their level of hearing to enjoy live music together. Striving to promote radical inclusivity, Music:Not Impossible's Vibrotextile™ From musical performances to one-of-a-kind, experiential activations, the night will showcase the future of haptic art. At the event, distinguished multimedia artists, composers, engineers, developers and producers, deaf and hearing alike, who make up the first Creator Network will showcase original artwork using the immersive M:NI technology. The elite group has utilized M:NI's vibrotactile creative platform to develop completely new sensory experiences that they will share with event attendees. "The deaf community has always been able to enjoy music by feeling its vibrations," "This is a whole new multi-sensory experience," This event is currently at capacity.
